Project Description

Why did you choose this profession?

I have been fortunate enough to be active my whole life. Growing up I was always involved in sports, many of my teammates along the way became injured and I watched some suffer some pretty terrible injuries that required a course of physical therapy to be able to return to the game. I always knew I wanted to do something in the medical field and felt physical therapy would be a good fit with my lifestyle and interests.

What is your best quality as a professional?

Every personality test I have ever taken has said that I am an empath. Being able to listen and connect with my patients is definitely helpful in my ability to motivate, sympathize, and help people to reach their goals.

-Hiking

-Wine tasting

-Socializing with friends/family

-Bringing my dog everywhere!

Did you know?

That I am a striving Adirondack 46-er

What do you find most compelling about your job?

There are so many different avenues in physical therapy and so many different ways to help my patients. I love that I don’t do the same thing daily and that I get to work with the body as a whole, not just limited to one specific joint or region.
