Project Description
Why did you choose this profession?
From a young age, I’ve lived an active lifestyle and always knew I wanted a job in healthcare. After sustaining an injury in high school, I went to PT myself, and was immediately drawn to the profession and the ability to get people to return to doing the activities they love.
What is your best quality as a professional?
Patience and enthusiasm. Every patient is different, and some may take longer to recover than others. An enthusiastic attitude can help a patient redirect negative thoughts, and keep them motivated throughout the course of their treatment.
Interests and hobbies?
Skiing, boating, working out, and cheering on Syracuse football and basketball.
Did you know?
I’ve been to Spain!
What do you find most compelling about your job?
The variety within the profession. Every day and every patient is different, and you often have to be creative and make changes on the fly!
What are some of your Favorites?
TV shows: The Office
Sports: Buffalo Bills, SU football and basketball.
What are you doing in the Community?
In college, I was involved in a program helping young adults with developmental disabilities improve functional skills in the community. I’ve just returned to the Syracuse area and am looking for ways to get more involved in the community.
