Project Description

Why did you choose this profession?
As an athletic person, choosing physical therapy as a career was a natural progression of my passion for movement, health, and fitness. With my own personal history of training and rehabilitation, I can provide a deep, firsthand understanding of the physical and mental challenges that patients face. I enjoy helping others return to an active life, reduce pain without opioids, and improve overall quality of life.
What is your best quality as a professional?
I am very upbeat, motivating and outgoing and really engage with, and encourage each individual patient so they have the best possible prognosis.
Interests and hobbies?
Going to the gym to maintain my overall health and wellness, coaching/reffing, hiking, traveling, volunteering and doing anything really that involves a fun, explorative and active lifestyle.
Did you know?
I honorably served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps (2004-2008). I have been to over 20+ countries. I also have two boys who are currently active duty in the Marines; both stationed in California.
What do you find most compelling about your job?
Patients don’t always come to you with simplicity and can have a lot going on. Being patient, compassionate and having the flexibility to improvise, adapt and overcome is probably the most common tactic I face in order to be able to treat and work as a team in order to treat and resolve their symptoms.
What are some of your Favorites?
Hobbies: Exercise and fitness, hiking, coaching/reffing, being a Dad! If you have any fun, new challenging ideas please let me know!
Food: Love steak, chicken, salmon, all veggies, fruit, acai bowls, smoothies, peanut butter.
Sports: NFL: New York Football Giants, college football: LSU Tigers, NBA: Boston Celtics, SU men’s basketball and lax.
I do love down time and being able to relax and watch a really good action/suspense and/or horror movie! Going out to dinner with family and friends. I enjoy mini vacations/long weekend getaways to new places.
What are you doing in the Community?
I am very involved in my son’s sports/activities, coaching/reffing, and also have volunteered with Syracuse Honor Flight and Clear Path For Veterans.
