Why did you choose this profession?
I always knew I wanted to work in medicine but wasn’t sure which profession best suited me. In the middle of doing research and thinking about it when I was applying to colleges, I watched members of my family go to PT and fell in love with the field. It’s such a happy medium where I am able to practice medicine but also spend quality time with my patients to build a relationship and to watch them progress and succeed!
What is your best quality as a professional?
I believe my best qualities are flexibility and patience! In PT and in daily life things don’t always go as planned so being able to adapt and be patient through a challenging situation helps keep me focused on achieving our goals!
Interests and hobbies?
I love to cook! I enjoy finding new recipes to make and share with family and friends. I also love anything to do with the warm & sunny outdoors! A hike, swin, walk, or relaxing in the sunshine!
Did you know?
My biggest fear is heights but I have been skydiving before & would do it again!
What do you find most interesting about your job?
Sometimes a patient comes into PT without a diagnosis or an unknown cause of their pain. As a PT, we can help figure out a cause and a solution!
