Why did you choose this profession?

I have always had a strong interest in the medical field however, I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do until my late twenties. Undergoing physical therapy myself inspired me to pursue a career as a PTA. I have always loved helping others, and I have a strong passion for helping those with neurological disorders.

What is your best quality as a professional?

My best qualities as a professional include the ability to empathize with my patients, strong communication and listening skills, as well as a positive, collaborative attitude.

Interests and hobbies?

I enjoy running, reading, hiking, singing, playing piano, writing songs, and spending time with my husband and our dogs Chazzy and Rowan.

Did you know?

I have completed multiple half marathons.

What do you find most compelling about your job?

Every patient has a different experience with various diagnoses. Everyone’s body is completely different, and everyone responds differently to treatment. This requires a lot of creativity with treatment ideas, and furthers my skills as a PTA.
